Design and Analysis of Femtosecond Laser-Generated Metasurface for Optical Filter Application

چکیده
This work investigates a Fano filter design based on nano-hole array, patterned in fused silica using high-energy ultrafast femtosecond laser pulses. After carefully observing the experimental results, structural profile of nano-holes is numerically modeled 3D finite-difference time-domain-based software platform. The metasurface consists conical shaped air holes structured substrate, and later deposited waveguide layer which leaves craters surface as material fills inside nano-holes. spectral properties device are studied against variations parameters, such depth nano-holes, its diameter, waveguide. proposed designed to operate near-infrared (NIR) wavelength range around telecommunication window 1550 nm. Multiple narrowband resonances observed with linewidth 1.4 24.2 nm quality factor 66.51 1090.12. shows good tunability over wide from 1380 1650 comprising multiple parameters. Since can be implemented cost-effective rapid fabrication method, it for use various optical filtering sensing applications.
